The new Manager of the KNUST branch of the Ghana Commercial bank, Mr. Albert Owusu Asare, has paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor. The visit was to introduce himself and to share some few thoughts and outline his strategic direction and focus to the Vice-Chancellor.
In his opening statement, the Vice-Chancellor welcomed the Manager to KNUST Campus and urged him to strive to enhance the bank’s products and services, for the benefit of the numerous clients which include students, staff and their relatives, and residents of the surrounding communities.
Mr. Owusu, on his part, expressed profound appreciation for the warm welcome accorded him by the Vice-Chancellor. He promised to work tirelessly to make banking with the Commercial Bank more fluent and easy, so as to attract more customers.
He emphasized that the Bank sees Corporate Social Responsibility as a key factor in their service delivery and therefore pledged to make remarkable strides in that direction.
The Vice-Chancellor assured him of the University’s support in all aspects of their operations on campus.
